OUR DREAM

At Me-Mover, our dream is a coherent life. A life where efficient, active transportation, exercise and function blend seamlessly into one another. Me-Mover began as an idea for a simple solution to a common problem of modern city life – how can we move around quickly, safely, and in a way that is both healthy and easily integrates into both our everyday life and, importantly, our existing transportation system.

Our founder, Jonas Eliasson, began thinking about this problem back in 1998 while living in Stockholm. While satisfied with the city’s bus and metro system, Jonas found the longest and often the most frustrating part of his daily commute lay in the travel to and from the metro or bus stop. An active guy, architect and innovator, Jonas began to think about a solution to this problem. He looked to existing products, including bikes, skates and scooters, but nothing fit the requirements that it be functional in all weather, compact, and easily carried onto public transport. So began ten years of thinking and toying with design ideas, until 2008, when Me-Mover was launched.

After four years we are on our way to fulfilling our dream with the launch our first product, the Me-Mover CITY. The CITY is the latest chapter in our story and a continuation of our dream!

We continue to work towards that dream, with the CITY as our first step.
